KNOW STREET SAFETY™
As our children venture forth on foot, by bike or in a car, the KNOW Street Safety workshop ensures that they have the critical safety knowledge to enhance their ability to employ street safety habits each day. Street safety is an essential skill to every young person in America. The obtainment of the knowledge that must be employed to maintain safety with every mode of transport and the skills each child should employ to use the correct safety devices provided to help them on their quest for street safety enable our young people to integrate safety habits that will last a lifetime.
The KNOW Street Safety Workshop provides each child with the education, knowledge and skills that they will implement to minimize potential dangers when they travel away from the home and the best practices that they should employ to maximize the effect of street safety tools. The obtainment and implementation of these practices has been proven to reduce the most common and serious injuries that occur in relationship to transportation dangers.
The KNOW Street Safety Workshop takes a positive approach to accident and injury prevention by isolating the most common causes of vehicle related accidents and educating each child the safety practices that they can employ and safety tools that they can use to minimize the occurrence and effects of these accidents. The single most effective factor in the prevention of street related accidents and injuries is to education and KNOW delivers this necessary education through the interactive workshop components that empower every child to form situational habits, use safety promoting tools and employ street safety practices that minimize potential safety risks.
